Works offline
Tasks live in a local database. Browse, edit and create them anywhere; changes queue up and sync in order as soon as the server is reachable.
Smart lists
Next for your plan, Starred, Updated for what changed since you last looked, and Timing for everything you tracked.
Time tracking
A timer per task and in the menu bar. Smart Pause stops counting when you walk away, Smart Sleep when the Mac sleeps.
Quick Create
Press ⌃⇧Space in any app for a Spotlight-style panel. ↩ creates the task, ⌘↩ creates it and starts the timer.
Made for agents
Hand a task to Claude Code, Cowork or GitHub Copilot with ⇧⌘O, or let agents list, update and comment on tasks through Beaver’s local MCP server.
